Genealogy Tip of the Day!
First Cousins?

Have you done Google and other searches to see if others are researching first (and more distantly related) cousins of some of your “lost” family members? This May be a good way to connect with others and researchers of these families May not “know enough” to have names that they can post on earlier generations.

“I will show you fear in a handful of dust.” – T.S. Eliot

“We are not so much afraid of dying as we are of no one remembering we existed at all.

We only walk this earth because of the people before us.  Every name is a memory to a life not just a branch in a tree.  Sometimes all that echoes through time to mark our existence is a record story photograph a headstone.  Bringing those things together is remembering the person who lived and I am proud to be a part of the community of genealogists who are invested and dedicated to connecting families and sending the message “You have not been forgotten!”

Growing up with an affinity for all things historical and mysterious she was introduced to genealogy by her sister in 200.  Erin fearlessly jumped in head first and in a joint effort successfully reunited sisters parted for over 70 years!

Located where the trail ended and the adventure began her strengths include but are not limited to The Pacific Northwest.   She is fearless and will follow the clues left by your ancestors regardless of distance.  She loves to trace the names written on the back of old photographs and has a talent for deciphering unique handwriting techniques.  With a detailed eye she notices and remembers seemingly insignificant details which May unlock the secrets of your ancestors.  She is a talented thorough thoughtful researcher who knows where to aim her sights.  She believes that every detail matters and that your ancestors deserve to be remembered for whom they are with the obligation to get it right.

In addition to genealogy projects Erin volunteer’s her time in the surrounding community on various sustainability efforts youth leadership and fundraising for nationally recognized organizations like the American Heart Association & Medical Teams International.
