Genealogy Tip of the Day!
Where can I see the old homestead?

There are three sites…one you are probably familiar with‚ it’s called Google earth.  The other two will take further explanation and there is not enough room so I will take you to another page for that.   Check for mapping your ancestors under free tips.

This lists ranks completed and topped out buildings in the United States that stand at least 700 feet (21 m) tall based on standard height measurement. This includes spires and architectural details but does not include antenna masts. An equal sign (=) following a rank indicates the same height between two or more buildings. The Year column indicates the year in which a building was completed. Freestanding observation towerswhile not habitable buildings are included for comparison purposes; however they are not ranked.
